Lael K. Brown


Lael Brown is a native Californian, born and raised in Volcano, a small town hidden in California’s Gold Country. After attending school first at California State Monterey Bay and then at the University of California Davis, Ms. Brown and her family moved to Vacaville in 2004 and fell in love with the area. She and her husband knew right away that Solano County would be a great place to raise their family.

Prior to obtaining her law degree, Ms. Brown worked as a lab administrator for an internationally renowned laboratory specializing in technology transfer of vaccines and the development of diagnostic kits designed to combat bioterrorism. Ms. Brown gained invaluable negotiation skills and management experience from this position which she now brings to the practice of law.

Ms. Brown attended and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law shortly after moving to Vacaville. While in attendance, she was fortunate enough to be awarded the Dean’s Scholarship and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Elder Law. Ms. Brown was also able to gain hands on experience while attending school by working as a certified law clerk for a local boutique firm specializing in Trust and Probate Litigation.

Lael Brown is admitted to Practice Law in all California Courts and the United States District Court, Eastern District.

In her spare time Ms. Brown enjoys spending time with her family, practicing martial arts, teaching Zumba, and reading science fiction
